yep, I wasn't sure form the thumbnail if one of the images were going to be in focus, looking in larger view, my feeling, imho, is that there should be focus on one or the other flowers, if there was , I would absolutely love this image, the colors are beautful and I love the background .

Hi Rene - whether it has a flower in focus or not, its a photo that wants to be looked at. Its colourful and is well balanced. keep the quality coming. Mik : )

I also like the composition of this crop. Colours are ok but I agree the oof is too little to be artsy LOL en to much too be sharp. There is no real focuspoint now

Color and composition are awesome. It's a bit too OOF for my taste. I agree with the others, it should at least have one flower in focus.

I agree with you, it would have been better if at least one of the flowers had been in sharp focus. Actually there was another piece of a flower in between on the left side. I stamped it out in photoshop. It probably was the item that was in focus. This was before I took a macro course and got a macro lens. I think that has imporoved my flower shots. Thanks for your kind and thoughtful comments.--Rene

I like the colour and the composition of this, the partial flower at the from helps your eye through, but I think it would maybe have been better if the second flower was totally sharp. Did you deliberately aim to have half of each flower sharp? If so why? Never taken plant/flower pictures but will have to think about trying, you have some lovely images.
