+ OSBREHT, R retrograde, cross pattée in centre, rev. + DELHELM, cross composed of five pellets in centre, 0.88g [13.58grns], 5h (SCBI 69 [Abramson], 1010-1011; cf. SL 6-16; North 191; BMC -; S.869), square flan, dark green tone. Provenance: The Martin Waldron Collection of Anglo-Saxon, Norman and Plantagenet Coins; C Martin, by private treaty, April 2004 [with ticket]. This coin represents the last of the Anglian kings killed by the 'Great Heathen Army'. Died March 21, 867.
