Enroute from Canyonlands/Arches National Parks to Capital Reef/Bryce/Zion Canyon National Parks, Route 70 passes some forbidden landscapes, including San Rafael Swell and Wasatch Plateau, before arriving at some pastoral farming villages. Early on, I passed a service station boasting to be the last gas station for the next 110 miles, thought of it as a joke or savvy advertisement, but it turned out to be true.
