Indian traffic, rules-of-the-road and drivers are in a world of their own. It was not unusual to see vehicles of all sorts on the wrong side of the road... i.e. wrong by western standards... coming toward us in what seemed like a game of "chicken". Red lights in cities at times served only to mark the edge of the road. Many times I simply decided not to watch, but the constant use of horns made that difficult.
