Village of Seko

The nephews celebrated a traditional healing ceremony for our benefit. It was conducted in a small room filled with spirit fetishes, large and small. Much like the priest, the primary celebrant recited incantations in a very soft voice, accented occasionally by the rattling of chain links. The final act was the "feeding" of the many fetishes by pouring a small amount of gin or vodka over each one.
