This frog is in an oak half wine barrel pond that I created following the instructions in this article on Native Plants and Wildlife Gardens. I wanted to make sure the oak barrel was untreated/unpainted real oak, made in the USA, as opposed to some cheap imitation wood, made in China and treated with who knows what. So I ordered this one online rather than picking up something cheap at the local store. The pond is in the back area of the garden and I've seen several frogs like this one using it.
