My D70 died tonight :( Not the best time for it to happen. Anyways will have to wait and see what Dr Nikon has to say.

That's really bad news, Gavin :(
I hope it's not too expensive to repair. On the plus side you are taking some cracking shots with the F11. Chin up, and do as Monty Python advise, and always look on the bright side.
