Each June, between 100 and 200 men and women are "commissioned" as Salvation Army officers in the USA. This is a scene depicting the pagentry of the event in 1999 for the Southern Territory's commissioning. My mother, who had served on the staff of the college 65 years earlier, was in attendance for this event...her last before being "Promoted to Glory".
