I first learned of Gorges du Verdon watching Manu Feildel's My France. Looked amazing on the TV, looks way better in person. It's worth the endless winding roads, one way tunnels with no apparent rules, and close calls with buses. Thankfully I'd already had a few hundred km to get used to being on the wrong side of the road, but then again, at times the road was barely single lane. It really was an amazing day trip.
