Beirut

Had very little time in Beirut to look around. The bombed buildings are where the Lebanese ex president was killed with a car bomb.

These are really interesting pictures. I would really be interested to come and visit Beirut someday. Just to see what it is like and how the war has impacted it. It is such a different environment being in an area that was a war zone than being somewhere that never has seen a bomb explode or a gun shot. I really have a respect for people that have been able to tolerate that kind of thing. I don't know if I could live in a place like that. www.beirut.com
