The year I became a fully qualified Diesel Train Driver, but then you get sent to the 'Sparks' on compulsory transfer...and try to get back to the diesels...but most stay, I certainly did.

Also the year I got 'the clunker', a Pentax 6x7, medium format camera, which would be my workhorse camera until the digital SLR days of 2003.
