This is my first successfully converted movie lens. It came with a Arriflex 35mm movie camera mount, and I kinda botched it into a M42 mountable lens. I lacked the tools to do the conversion properly but managed to make focus to infinity; actually it focuses past infinity, which is ok, as I have a split screen installed on my 1Ds, which I use for manual focus lenses.

This is a very interesting lens. Still very sought after in the used market. I have not used it much, so I will reserve judgment for it until I have a few hundred pictures with it.

For a couple dozen of pictures I took, I like what I see so far.
