We successfully made it up and over the pass. On the descent, we crossed one frozen, glacier fed river only to come to another which we deemed unsafe to cross at present. This would be our camp for two very cold nights. It was probably the two most miserable nights I have ever had as I struggled to keep my feet warm. They felt as if they were blocks of wood. Luckily there was no damage at that time.
