This is one of my original photos - one of about 6.

My set up consisted of a sheet of glass, about 11x14, placed in
front of our living room window (a large window with drawn blinds
in the afternoon) on supports (two wine glasses - you can see one
on the lower right side of the photo!). The large window acts as a
softbox (larger than one I can afford!).

Under the glass, I placed a 12x16 sheet of black felt.
I put a piece of cellophane on the glass to imitate the "watery" effect.
I also used a small flashlight to highlight the glasses. When I was ready,
I triggered the camera with a cable release while shining the
flashlight on the glasses (no, I can't afford an assistant! :) ).
