Finally getting into the real "mountains" of Crawford Hill, our train approaches the crossing of a rancher's road and the first of the giant cuts made by BN back in the early 1980's when the track was double tracked and realigned.
In the old days the crossing was known as "Bootleggers Crossing", I'm not sure if that name is still used today.
