BNSF 1985 South Switching At Highland, CO

A pair of SD40-2's are caught switching the Coors Barley elevator at Highland, CO.

I picked up a new (used) camera for cheap, a Panasonic DMC-FZ70. It's nothing more than a glorified point and shoot camera with a typical tiny little 1/2.3" sensor. What caught my eye was the ZOOM. A zoom that is equal to 20mm to 1200mm on a full frame 35mm camera! It also packs some extra features, such as easy to operate full manual mode, a live histogram, and an electronic viewfinder. It looks like a DSLR, but only about 1/3 the size and weight. I hardly notice it hanging around my neck!

Anyway, it's no EOS 5D with a big, white L lens, but I'm having a blast with the extreme zoom lens! I'll be using it until I get bored and go back to my real cameras. :)
