I made my second trip to Bosque del Apache wildlife refuge on February 2 - 5, 2008. The conditions this year were different from last year. There were fewer geese, as a large percentage of them started moving north much earlier than usual this year, even before I got there. It was also quite windy for a couple days while I was there, making conditions more difficult.
