New camera and zoom lens testing. I was doing this hand held. And going to the extreme limits of both ends. I expected some softness and CA on the telephoto end and saw them. But the surprise was that they were much less than I expected. They're not all that noticeable unless you're pixel peeking or cropping and enlarging.

Both the new Nikon D5500 and the newly released Nikon 18-300mm lens are keepers!
