I just wanted to put a comment regarding all of the people in the pictures!
They all range from very respected instructors to begginers but all of them represent people that have a genuine vision in what they do and what they represent in their training to levels I always had taken for granted.
For anyone who looks at these galleries there is so many lifetimes worth of experience in an art form that to me seems to be dying out. In the early eighties when I started in martial arts it was all very popular but in today's fast stream lifestyle fast results is what counts.
I don't profess to know a speck of what is achievable to these people, but what I can say is that they have people they look at as role models and something to strive to be like. All of the teachers are looked upon with the highest of respect....a word sadly very often forgotten these days but so very important in our srtucture of life. People that have given their lives to attain a selfless goal for perfection without any adulation. Their road to pefection is sometime a painful one and filled with frustration, these are overcome by determination and a willing to carry on and one day achieve that goal.
This is a lifetimes work to be really good, I just want to say thanks to the Teachers "Senseis" for carrying on the teaching to those that want to learn. It is my experience that we are very fortunate to have this available to us on our doorstep.....so make the most of it!!!!!
