“Lest We Forget 1914-18”.

Colchester Borough Council gardeners have created a three-dimensional flower display in front of the castle. Using more than 14,000 flowers the display symbolizes the pacification of a war machine, and includes the words “Lest We Forget 1914-18”.
The design is inspired by a tank placed in the park during the 1920s as a war trophy.
