From the Kent Blaxill Exhibition at the Firstsite March 2013

A HISTORIC building firm is turning back the clock to celebrate its 175th anniversary.

Kent Blaxill’s directors and their families travelled through Colchester in a horse and cart

After leaving the company’s Layer Road headquarters they passed its old premises on the way to the Town Hall where they were
met by the Mayor of Colchester Christopher Arnold for tea, before continuing their journey to Firstsite. Where a exhibition was being held, showing the years of development of this now International Business.
