The Celebration begins

Each year in Colchester, the Pre Christmas activities start with the Unveiling of Christmas Display window by Father Christmas, of the Departmental Store, Williams & Griffen.

This year the Troops of Colchester Garrison are way from home, serving in the Peace Keeping Force in Afghanistan.
As a special tribute, Father Christmas arrived in a Military Procession. and a collection was made for the Help For Heroes Fund.
