Rare resident in Desert and Mountains regions.
Habitat: Oak woodland adjacent to grasslands.
Best locations: Tamarisk Grove.
Note: Nocturnal. Communal winter roosting sites change from year to year. May no longer breed in Lowlands riparian woodlands as formerly.
