Dear Paul,

a lot of nice photos, really enjoy going through your gallerie. I will bookmark as "favorite" as it will take several visits to watch them all.

I saw that you use X 100 and G 12 - the 2 cameras I will choose my next one from. Currently I use FZ 28 and 40/45 of Lumix.

Instad of going DSLR as intended I want it smaller, as I walk around with the camera the whole day.
I am not sure about fixed lense as I always had a zoom. On the other hand the X 100 has the faster lense (I do not like flash) but the G 12 HDR option looks interesting for me.

In the end it comes all to IQ. Some guys on the web publish wonderful photos of Leica M9, but this camera is above my budget, you can get 17 G 12 for one M 9 plus 2 lenses!
I like this "film" like IQ.

On the net it is very difficult to judge, not even my monitor I use is top class.

Maybe you as the owner of both can give me some insight.

Best regards

Thank you for your comments on the Space Shuttle launch. I live a little over 40 miles from the Cape in Kissimmee. By coincidence I just found your galleries yesterday and I have one of your pictures as my current wallpaper and a few stored if I ever get bored with this one.
I am in awe of your talent and I look forward to more of your amazing work.

Highest regards,
Jerry Jackson
