I'm working just off #6 Road in Richmond and have enjoyed the sparrows and robins for the past many years landing on the bush outside my window eating the red berries. Then yesterday I saw a bird that hasn't visited before. First there were just two of them, and then by the next day and then the day after that I counted about 12 of them coming into feed. They are quite beautiful. Looked up the internet to see what they were - what a wonderful sighting. Called my work colleagues to have a look but they were so timid and flew away as soon as they saw someone approaching. So, now I just sit at my desk and enjoy the view.
