The crows loud cawing lead me to this owl. The Great Horned owl just stood there listening to it all and probably thinking while looking at each of them, "monday......tuesday..........wednesday........yum.......".

I was initially photographing the owl with a lot of backlighting. After getting the initial shots in I moved to a better vantage point where the light from behind was not as severe. The owl obliged by hardly moving at all. After the encounter with the crows, I barely registered on its interest scale.
