Cap Rouge. An old fishing pier is all that remains of an Acadian village evacuated when the National Park was created in 1936.

There is an old fishing pier at Cap Rouge located on the park's western coastline, and it's all that remains of one of several Acadian villages that were evacuated when the National Park was created in 1936. About 30 families were displaced when it was appropriated to make way for the park.
