Owl was there anywhere from 2 to 5 months. This may have been the March Valley Road (ahem, Gatineau cough, cough) owl.

The owl flew above and past me and landed in a tree. I was standing very still far away thinking the owl would fly my way. It did and maybe it thought I was a tree. It couldn't see my eyes because it was behind the camera.
