A recently fledged peregrine falcon at an Ottawa nest site. The quality is poor here as it was taken from very far away.
If you enjoy watching or photographing peregrine falcons, one of the best places in eastern/southern Ontario is at Niagara Falls. There they fly at eye level and close up over the Niagara Gorge. You can easily photograph them from the boardwalk where sometimes they fly maybe 60 feet in front of you. The aerial display is awesome to watch as the young falcons fly through the mist at the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, often times buzzing the Maid of the Mist tour boat riders from above.
