Red-tail Hawk digs into a large female garter snake

The hawk landed in a field and started to walk slowly back and forth. Apparently it was searching for a previously caught large garter snake. It finally found it and started to tear into it. Believe it or not the garter snake was still flicking its tongue out long after this.
