First it tried to knock a cormorant out of the air and almost succeeded. This happened right in front of me at eye level. What a view. With four hungry mouths to feed it next swooped after smaller birds downward toward the Niagara Gorge. After disappearing below the rock face it soared up with a bird in its grasp. I saw one of the young fledglings mantling over the meal a bit later while the other three waited their turn.
