New sparrow discovered

Ottawa, Ontario. Canada.

I believe this to be a spinning-headed sparrow or whirly bird. Some birds rotate or shake their heads so fast it looks like a blur even at 1/400s shutter speed.

I believe you are correct with the id, as I have seen a few of these species around the Ottawa area as well! I really like the way this shot turned out - very unique with the motion. V.
