I have heard about this project for decades. The plantations are no more, so that the water flow
might be returned to its original channel. Of course that would be a spectacular addition to Lahaina,
but in present day America bureaucracy and institutional paralysis seems to know no bounds.

Just across the channel on Lanai sits my former boss with his over 200 Billions. Would that be
a worthy act for him? Something to accomplish in the eve of life, and be remembered by history?
