Lake Ahula

About 500 million migrating birds fly over Israel on their way from Europe to Africa or on their way back. Lake Hahula (Agmon Hahula) is a major stopover for these migrating birds. It also a major birdwatching site. In many cases some cranes and some other species may remain at this site instead of continuing their normal migration to Africa.
