Winter 2019 is the first time I have seen a Ruby-crowned Kinglet come to my feeder station and eat. I have fed birds on my property for over 40 years. I have seen them flit around the feeder station, but not until 2019 have I seen one come to eat the food I offer. I feed sunflower chips, peanuts (both from Wild Birds Unlimited), beef suet and peanut butter suet. The kinglet is eating sunflower chips and peanut butter suet.
