Maybe a look of thanks! Injured Red-tailed Hawk, captured at CHDC (where I worked) and taken to a raptor rehabilitator. It had a fractured elbow. Once rehabilitated, I was able to release it back on the CHDC campus. I added the limb, in front of the pet carrier, in hopes that she would pop out of the carrier, onto the limb for a quick photo opt. Worked great too :-)

Clever move on your part...and it worked great.
Great capture and I'm glad the bird was able to be released.
Cheers !

I'm sure you're right, definitely a look of thanks. This is a great image of her release, posed so beautifully in the limb. V
