We found Gigi, Elisa, and Peter along Bear Sign trail. Hakan and I went as far along the trail as indicated by the GPS track shown above (or below). Gigi, Elisa, and Peter of course went further. We stopped and ate lunch at the intersection of Bear Sign and Dry Creek trails. Yup, that is where we saw the rattle snake.

This is about the northern most part of the hike on the Dry Creek trail for Hakana and me. It was getting warm (even in Sedona) and we turned around and started back to the trailhead.

Total topo view of the hike. The trailhead is at the bottom. The Bear Sign trail heads to the west about 0.7 miles from the trailhead. The Dry Creek trail continues about another 1-2 miles (depending on how hard you push) from the northern most point of this hike.
