Black and Yellow Mud dauber wasp nests

The female wasp builds the nest. The tube like hole is the entrance and the rough hole is where the young wasp brakes out. Inside are several individual cells, where she places a spider and one egg. This is what the larvae feeds on. The spiders are not killed, but paralyzed so they will be fresh when the larvae is ready to feed.
