I stopped in Syros for four hours in October of 2009. It was a very rainy morning in Ermoupolis, the capital city of Syros and Cycladic Islands and this was a great photographic opportunity.
The island is FANTASTIC, even in autumn with many stunning early 20th century buildings.
Syros has a very strong catholic community, probably the biggest in Greece with namy churches and monasteries. Unfortunately, I did not had time to visit them. Next time for sure...
