This looks like it has been abandoned for a long time. Not sure the pandemic caused this but in my fairly recent western travels I have seen large number of abandoned properties. I am afraid we are going to see a lot more. A nice capture and food for thought David. V

A very foreboding image. I hope things open up soon. V

The shot certainly fits the narrative. A double whammy trying to heal the sick victims and world economy at the same time. A tough job for any leader these days, but gosh I wish we had someone different in charge here.

I fear this will be the result for a lot of businesses. Hard times are coming.

Hope it won't last the same time as for these bushes to reach this height ! V.
The measures of stores closures seem to arrive very late in Canada... It's afraid me.
Gill Kopy02-Apr-2020 03:19
It sure is going to bring some BIG changes !!! Love your shot V

I believe it will take along time for things to get back to pre pandemic normal. A striking image, Dave!

This is striking and a little jarring!
Nature takes over no matter what!

I'd hate to wait for this long. My kind of photography. Nicely done, David. "V"

Very worrying times for all, especially for small businesses, although large company's are also at risk.
Allan Jay01-Apr-2020 19:00
Indeed these our serious troubling times that the
small business owners are facing. Let’s hope the stimulus
packages can kick in to make a difference.

For some of them a couple of weeks could be an eternity.V
Don Mottershead01-Apr-2020 18:37
Yes, so many business owners and their employees have a lot to worry about.
Nirvan Hope01-Apr-2020 17:42
At least Canada has a decent stimulus package planned... Excellent image to foretell the possible future.
Walter Otto Koenig01-Apr-2020 17:20
Poignant image. Obviously too long for the store. The economic effects of this pandemic will be felt for years to come.

Haha! Great find. Nice view of the bushes through the windows.... V
