Bloedel Conservatory

the Bloedel Conservatory provides a refuge, and a showcase, for birds from all over the planet...the place is also a good refuge for people on a cold, rainy day, as it is kept quite warm

visible on the porcelain bird feeder are heavily distorted reflections of the conservatory's roof, a geodesic dome

according to their bird check list brochure, this is an owl finch, a.k.a. Bicheno or double-bar finch, and is native to Australia
