Monument Valley Tribal Park

John Ford made this area famous, shooting a number of films here...this spot is called John Ford's Point, and was supposedly the director's favourite view...and the classic western location is still popular...there was a buzz about the place as Johnny Depp had been here just a few months previously, filming a new version of The Lone Ranger

Phenomenal landscape! It surely is classic... so redolent of all those old western movies (and new ones too, I guess). VV
