ideal

while walking about the neighbourhood on a very mild New Year’s Day I spotted this motorbike, and thought it might be an ideal vehicle for photographic expeditions...quick, versatile, easy to park, cheap on gas, 360 degree view, and the sidecar perfect for keeping camera bag and tripod handy...although perhaps it could prove problematic in this very rainy city

Nikon D90
Nikkor 16-85mm - 1/60s f/8.0 at 38.0mm iso1000 full exif

other sizes: small medium large auto

Did you ever get one. It looks like quite a good ride?
Somebody loves their bike.

The sidecar looks very comfortable. Just right for an assistant to hold your camera bag and tripod. V

Nice catch! It looks like it would be a blast to tool around in. I think you idea for its use is a good one, at least for the non rainy days. ~BV~

The Pillion seat looks a little hairy....the sidecar seat looks just right.

That is so cool! There is a guy in our town who has a motorcycle with a sidecar and he drives around with his Goldren Retreiver in the sidecar. The dog wears doggles ( no joke, goggles for dogs). Quite a sight! One day I would love to follow him around and take some photos of everyone's expressions when they see him. Love this shot of this gorgeous machine! V

It comes with a spare tyre too...what a classic beauty! V

An excellent vehicle for photographic expeditions! But no digital allowed of course. A wooden 4x5 field camera would look pretty good riding in this rig. ;)

I like what you are thinking of here, David. The rain is problematic for bothtthe equipment and the photographer. Could be just the ticket in sunnier climes, yes?

I want this....just send it down! ;)

I like the idea, it has a romantic notion about it, but having spent years riding bikes I think during my preferred photography season - winter I feel there could be a few draw backs, plus the the security of all your kit. I have ruined it now sorry...(nice shot)
