Spanish Banks

some do like it hot, and are quick to change clothes for the occasion...the name Spanish Banks commemorates the meeting here of an English expedition, led by Captain George Vancouver, with the Spanish exploration leaders Valdes and Galiano in the summer of 1792...the two parties agreed to share charts and co-operate in the mapping of the area...over two hundred years later people are still encountering each other at this popular beach, particularly at low tide
