near Geyserville, California

after three very rainy days on the road along the Oregon shore I modified my plans, and on the fourth day veered inland, away from the stormy coast, and towards California, stopping briefly here south of Geyserville to revel in the simple joy of two of California’s most delightful assets..sunshine and vineyards

From the thumbnail I thought for a moment this was a windfarm. Glad to see it is a vineyard instead. It is a fabulous shot with a very interesting perspective. V

Scintillating repeating patterns interspersed with colorful wild flora. I hope you were able to stop in at the "chateau" for a tasting. V

If the wine produced here is as fantastic as this view built by small pieces of geometry, send me a bottle:) V

This is amazing to see this different way of producing wine compared to Europe! Or just a new method, for better quality or yield? Good you turned away from the rainy coast! v.

Interesting ...but I do not see the vine, very short cutting!
Also I like the vineyards. It is good for the looking the grass ,the flowes between the lines;more romantic than the Straight lines in Bourgogne...another style.
