warm, wet winds (know locally as a 'pineapple express') from Hawaii are lashing Vancouver with yet another week of heavy rain, so have to rely on some images from the last dry night we had...admittedly this is a variation on yesterday's scene, but it does put the 'machine' in context, and places more emphasis on the water....it's not Southampton either, but it has a dock, and sits on the south side of the river
