Here we go again, but it's never the same, and most of all it's NEVER boring! We always seem to find some new way of spicing up an old Turkey Creek tradition, and this year was no exception. This time we were around the fire mostly for atmosphere and hanging out, instead of survival. Several years ago, the weather had us dumping diesel fuel on it, and the rain kept putting it out anyway! Not this time. Everyone had a terrific time as planned, and we made it through another year into 2009 safely. Now we just have to work off those extra calories which we will notice may still be lingering somewhere....!
