This is the precise moment when the Osprey, aiming at the prey, hovers in the air a moment before closing his wings and pounce on the victim. A scene that I have rarely seen and at considerable distance. In this lucky case, about 30 feet above me in San Rossore natural park ( near Pisa ).

Questo è il preciso momento in cui il Falco pescatore, individuata la preda, si libra in aria un attimo prima di chiudere le ali e piombare sul malcapitato. Una scena che ho osservato raramente e a considerevole distanza,in questo fortunato caso a circa 20 metri sopra di me presso il Fiume Morte di San Rossore
