Despite the obvious difference in size, the Black-winged Stilt did not hesitate to stand in the way (and then to attack) the two herons that were too close to the nest. I like the wingspan of the Stilt , which mimics what would be the same human posture in denying access.

Nonostante la evidente differenza di mole, il Cavaliere d'Italia non esita a sbarrare il passo ( e successivamente ad attaccare ) i due Aironi Cenerini che si erano avvicinati troppo al proprio nido. Mi piace l'apertura alare del Cavaliere, che mima quella che sarebbe stata l'analoga postura umana nel negare l'accesso.
