Binta Lake Fire

We are a little too close to this fire for comfort and are half expecting to be evacuated. The beetle kill in our forests combined with an extremely hot and dry summer have made for extreme conditions for fires. All we can do is pray for rain.

Such a scary event... especially seen through the window & image #7! Unfortunately the pines don't recover like the eucalyptus trees do. v
